The structure of the proposing team's arguments seems much more clear and convincing to me than the opposing team. The proposing team was also more funny I think
Despite my strong disinclination to agree with anyone called "sexy_boy_75", I too find the proposers to be the more persuasive in this entertaining debate. I think however they should have defined more clearly the necessary conditions for bossnapping to be legitimate, as it is true that certain basic notions of human rights would appear to argue against the practice. Nonetheless, I agree with them in thinking that such an experience could be salutary for all involved when a conflict has reached a stage of extreme incommunication (notwithstanding the fact that it's difficult to see how such a strategy could resolve much in the long run).

ReplyDeleteThe debate was awesome...true story! It was fun and full of relevant points.
But it didn't really help me change my opinion on the subject.
So i'll stick to the asian point of view of respecting your boss even if he's making selfish and unfair decisions...
And i'll just go back home and yell on my kids to help me release the pressure!!
